At Alevia, we often talk about health being a journey, not a destination. The same is true for the people who walk alongside you on that journey. This October, we’re sharing some important team news, and we want to take a moment to celebrate two people who have been a big part of the Alevia experience.
Celebrating Chenelle: More Than Seven Years with Alevia
For more than seven years, Chenelle has been one of the first voices you hear when you call us and one of the first faces you see when you walk through our doors. As our Admin Lead, she has brought warmth, patience and genuine care to every interaction, and we are so grateful for everything she has given to Alevia and our members. Chenelle, we wish you every success and happiness in your next chapter.
Farewelling Monica
We also farewell Dr Monica Foong, who joined our GP team in November 2025. In her time with us, Monica has brought thoughtful, evidence-based care and a warm, down-to-earth manner to every consultation, and we are grateful for the compassion and professionalism she has shown our members. We wish her all the very best for the future.
Key Dates
Chenelle’s last day with Alevia will be Monday 13 October, and Monica’s last day will be Tuesday 14 October.
What This Means for Your Care
We know that familiar faces are part of what makes you feel supported, so we want to reassure you that your care will continue without interruption.
If Dr Foong has been your GP, our team will be in touch to arrange your ongoing care with another of our experienced Alevia GPs, so your treatment plan continues seamlessly.
Your GP, dietitian, exercise physiologist, psychologist and health coach remain your team, and our admin team will continue to support your bookings, membership and enquiries as usual.

Just as your health journey includes seasons of change, so does ours. What stays the same is our commitment to partnering with you, with medical expertise, a multidisciplinary team and plenty of compassion, for as long as you need us.
