I am committed to helping individuals achieve their weight loss goals and enhance their overall well-being.
I take great pride in being a dietitian as it was my dream since I was 16 years old. During my high school years, I was a competitive swimmer. Although I loved swimming it also brought body image challenges. Amidst comparisons with leaner teammates, I questioned if my body was "right" for the sport. Pressure to perform made me focus on appearance over capabilities. It was not until I met with a dietitian at the age of 16 where I was able to shift my perspective to embrace body changes and finding self-acceptance. This experience is something I strive to share with my patients every day.
My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Science from Deakin University followed by an Honours degree in Health Science and finally Masters of Dietetics from Swinburne University. Successful completion of my studies and ongoing training has allowed me to retain full accreditation with Dietitians Australia.
I firmly believe that personalised care is the key to successful weight management. My warm and empathetic approach to allow me to build strong connections with my patients, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable sharing their struggles and aspirations.
Whether you're considering non-medical, medical weight loss or bariatric surgery, I am here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we will embark on a journey to understand your medical history, lifestyle, and nutritional needs, enabling me to share advice and ideas that align perfectly with your unique circumstances and weight loss objectives.
My focus is on sustainable habits and balanced nutrition, empowering you with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed choices about your diet and lifestyle. I understand that weight management goes beyond just meal planning; that's why I address emotional and behavioural aspects that can influence your journey.
Beyond my professional practice, I'm dedicated to staying abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and weight management to help inform my advice and answer any questions you may have about the diet and nutrition world.
